Loch Lomond

Loch Lomond opened in 1993 on the banks of the loch at Luss, designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish on land once held by Clan Colquhoun. Rossdhu House, the clan's historic seat, serves as the clubhouse — giving the course one of the most distinctive settings in world golf, framed by the loch on one side and Ben Lomond rising behind it. Weiskopf himself called it his "lasting memorial to golf." The club became the home of the Scottish Open for fifteen consecutive years, from 1996 to 2010, hosting the world's best players annually before the event moved on. It remains regarded as one of the finest parkland-meets-loch-side courses anywhere.
